Fixing non working menu items - Issue 55

This updates the links manifest.h.in and removes Help -> Check for Update with a general link to the STeCa Repository page with the released versions. It would have been possible to reestablish this last functionality, but a simple link to the page with released versions seems more than sufficient for this purpose.
