Placement of the combo boxes of detector widget
The DetectorWidget features two combo boxes for selecting the dataset and selecting the mode. The latter offers a list of different options
- "Zoom"
- "Selection box"
- "Rectangular mask"
- "Elliptical mask"
- "Line plot"
- "Horizontal slice"
- "Vertical slice"
- "Intensity Histograms"
While I can agree for a "Zoom" option this is a sensible place, I don't think it is a good place for the things like lineplot, horizontal slice, vertical slice and I really wonder about the other options too.I think at least the drawing options should be moved to left vertical bar next to it. This would also be sensible because the newest feature Intensity Histogram offers a spoiler box on the left to give some addition drawing option, also the Lineplot drawing has been enhanced similar.
Maybe something like this could be reasonable
it would keep the overall structure of the gui and would be more intuitive to the user and it is really easy to add input fields for drawing parameter/options. We should discuss whether and how we could improve this.
Also the data comboboxes doesn't belong there and is a redundant feature in the Subframe FindPeaks, Shape Model and Integrate. As a side effect there would be more space for the scrollbar for frame selection.
