Should we keep all the past slides in the slides folder?

We keep slides from all years in the Slides folder. (https://jugit.fz-juelich.de/qip/JUNIQ_School_on_QC/-/tree/main/Slides?ref_type=heads) Since we create releases after each school, which can be downloaded from here, is it still necessary to keep all previous slides in the main repository?
