Should "insert missing frames" be the default?

In the MADRAS project, people were surprised by the long time the export took. After a while they realised that it was the insert missing frames option and disabled it.

Should we disable the option by default? (Additionally, we should probably make it notable somehow that this option is significantly more computationally expensive than the other export options)
