Significant differences between linux and windows results

When adding the regression tests to the CI the tolerance needed to be increased (from 5mm to 15mm). It needs to be checked where this inaccuracy is originating from.

Ideas:

• Different third party version, like OpenCV
• Different compilers/compiler versions

If this comes from a source we can not control, we need to decide how to deal with it.
