Core: Rocking curve interpolation for large angle increment diffractometers
BioDiff has a small angle increment (0.2-0.4 degrees) so most reflections are partials extending over 5-10 frames. This makes finding the intensity maximum as the centroid of an ellipsoid possible. For other detectors with an increment of around 2 degrees, many peaks will only extend over 2 or 3 frames. This necessitates a Rocking curve model (as described in Leslie 2005) to correctly interpolate the intensity maximum.
It looks like this is partly implemented in PixelSumIntegrator
, but it's not clear to what extent.
