Wrong depth probe simulation with averaged layer material
Particles form an effective layer which is taken into account if option Average Layer Material for Fresnel Calculations is switched on.
But in depth-probe mode this layer leads to wrong and discontinuous intensity distributions.
How to reproduce:
- Create sample without particles, with one layer.
- Create sample with 2D lattice and boxes as particles in fronting media. Lattice parameter should be equal to box size.
- Set equal refraction for these two samples.
- Create depth-probe simulations for each samples.
